Pengaruh Papan Tulis Interaktif (Smartboard) Terhadap Keaktifan Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran PKn di Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Smartboard implementation in improving students' learning motivation in Pancasila Education lessons in grade 1 of SDN Bandung 1, Jombang Regency. Initial observations revealed that students' learning motivation is still relatively low, as evidenced by their passive behavior, minimal interaction, and easily distracted behavior when teachers employ unvarying teaching methods. To address this issue, the introduction of Smartboard is proposed as an innovative solution. This device is an interactive whiteboard that utilizes multimedia and audiovisual technology, combining teaching materials with visual elements such as images, videos, and animations to make learning more engaging and diverse. The methodology applied in this study is the correlation method, a quantitative approach that analyzes the relationship between the use of interactive features on Smartboards and students' learning motivation levels. The findings of this study indicate that the use of Smartboards in teaching has proven effective in improving students' learning motivation. After the implementation of Smartboards, students appear more active and enthusiastic during the learning process, thereby increasing their learning motivation and reducing boredom. The implementation of Smartboards involved game-based learning methods such as Duck Race Games and Wordwall, which successfully sparked students' curiosity, focus, and enthusiasm, as well as encouraging them to actively participate in answering questions and interacting in class.
